PRIVATE PREKINDERGARTEN

We consider preparing your PreKindergartner for Kindergarten is serious business.  Our PreK program can stand next to any prekindergarten program in the state. There is no need to take your preschooler to a half day program when we can offer you a full day prek program with more benefits than a half day program.  

 

Your child will leave our program ready for kindergarten and beyond.

Preschoolers are like sponges – they soak up knowledge.

 

Little Miracles Fireflies PreKindergarten Readiness Curriculum follows the guidelines for developmentally appropriate practice set forth by Early Learning and Development Standards developed by the Ohio Department of Education and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Through our programs we teach children ages 4 to 5 the skills they need to learn to read, do math, make progress in science and other areas as well as begin to understand the world and how it works. This helps children become more familiar with books, words, ways to use language, numbers and problem-solving strategies.  Social, verbal, cognitive and physical skills are built through activities that engage children. 

At Little Miracles they learn everything they need to be prepared for kindergarten and beyond; within our comfortable and encouraging environment children deepen knowledge, free from the fear of mistakes and failures.

PreKindergarten programs add to the social skills children need to get the most out of school - for instance, being able to pay attention in class and how to interact with peers. PreKindergarten programs also offer an early opportunity to identify and begin addressing special needs.

Our program is focused on development and outcomes. Your child will be assessed at least twice a year for developmental successes and needs.
